Week One - Write a summary of the class reading book you looked at last term. What was it called? Who wrote it? What was the basic storyline? What stood out for you as its main themes? Would you recommend it to someone else?
Last term I looked at the book Midnite. It was a halareious book to read. Im really happy that Mrs G and Mrs C gave me that book to read. The book was writen by Randolph Stow I think im going to look for a another book writen by him once im finished my seires that im reading at home. The basic story line was that Midnites parents died so he was forcfed to become a bushranger and steal from every one he could.
He also had a cat that was smart much much smarter than Midnite. What stood out to me as a good theam was when Midnite and cat got drunk that was a deffenit message to me that you shouldn't drink alot. I would recommend it to everyone and anyone and i always will.
Wow that sounds very interesting! I was in the other group and read the book A Wrinkle In Time. It was about a girl called Meg whos father is traped in an other world. She is determand to find him and goes to a place called Camatzots to look for him. She almost gets lost in the beat of the pulverising ugly giant evil brain.
She is with her brother and three wierd creatures, and her mother is a sientist. She goes to camatzots by 'tessering' , a special way of getting from one place to another. I would definatally recomend this book to other people although it is a bit wierd!

Week Two - What type of books do you enjoy reading? Do you like funny books? Science Fiction? Scary stories? Adventure? Sad stories? Do you have a favourite book at the moment? Do you prefer to read stories where the main character is your age? Male? Female?
I like reading a mix of adventure with a bit of funny and sadness. My favourite book at the moment is the seires of the fire within. It is about a man who goes to stay with this lady and this girl who make dragons out of clay that are alive. There are all differnt types of dragons that do differnt things because they all help the characters do everything
I like books that have charters that are younger than 40 or older than 60 i like it to have a young boy who likes adventures who joins up with someone to solve some kind of mistery.
You most disliked character in a book and why.
In the book the fire within the charicter that works in the libary gardens. I don't like him because he hates all of the people that come and really all the charicters. I also hate him because he dosent really need to be in the book .
He dosen't give any advice at all and he dosent really do any thing except give everybody bad looks and sometimes curses them because of the tiny messes they make. But the book is the best its just that chariceter.I think the book would need him if he was a bit nicer and if he did something usefull.

i also think he is not nice and most defenatly should not be in the book. but i think the book man eater is very good but the one charicter is mean. he is a hunter. when the main charicter was in need of help he pointed the gun at the elaphant charging and shot but missed because of the main charicter he started shouted so angerly. when the boy told the hunter he did that to protect the elephant he rode away. aston
What has been your most favourite Justin D'Ath extreme adventure book and why
My favourite Justin D'Ath Extreme adventure book is Killer Whale because Sam Fox and his brother Harry go to Antarctica adn they get caught on an Ice Berg off shore and they get saved by a pirate ship that save every whale in the whole world. The captain of the pirate ship is called Captain Dan and they had seafood soup and they get food poisoned and the japenese walers try to kill 600 tonnes of whale.
I've read lots of extreme adventures. I've read about three books and the caracters change every time and it makes it more interesting because new adventures. Doron\
That sounds very interesting Doron. I have only red one extreme adventure it was spider bite. Ther was sam harry and jordan who was bitten by a spider and almost died or died i don't know i havent red it all yet i just have two more chapters. I reallly wont to read killer whale it sounds so interesting.
I think you should keep reading extreme adventures because they are defenitly the best books ever.
My favorite book was definately grizzly trap. It was scary, funny and had interesting facts floating around the place alll tghe time. If I couyld recomend it I would. It is a great book to read and it is quite esey for younger kids.

I havent red grizzley trap but I know that from what ive heard from you it must be really good! I think you should try the fire within series by chris D'lacy. it is all about dragons and the polar bears rulling the artic and dragons rulling the world in the past.
I think i mite have a try at getting bear trap. It sounds like the best book.
